Maritime
Hands-on working chanteys, shipboard fife and drum, immigrant ballads of life at sea, or even a traditional ship's fufu band: the GH&CS can float your boat from dockside to dogwatch for a traditional seaside family day.
Our lead chantey singer has shipped on tall ships and transatlantic cruise lines, participated on international sea-music festivals, and captained the Boston Folk Festival Chanteyboat. In 2000 the band provided music for the soundtrack of Legacy: The Age of the Gloucester Schooners, a television documentary.
